Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The prayer sought for in the writ petition is as under: "....declaring the inaction of the 3rd respondent in releasing my vehicle i.e., Tractor and Trailor bearing No.AP-20-TC-5734, which was seized on 09.11.2014 by the 4th respondent, despite latest representation dated 23.11.2019 submitted by the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of nature justice and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to release the seized vehicle in favour of the petitioner without any further delay..."

Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents-Forests informs the Court that he has instructions to report that in compliance with the procedure contemplated under Section 44 of the Andhra Pradesh Forest Act, 1967 (for short, 'the Act'), an enquiry will be conducted and appropriate orders will be passed within a period of four (4) weeks. 4.
Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to comply with the procedure contemplated under Section 44 of the Act as expeditiously as possible.
