Heard the counsel for petitioner and Sri B.Mayur Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 2.

This Writ Petition has been filed assailing order dt.29-12-2017 placing the petitioner under suspension pending enquiry. 3.

It is the case of the petitioner that this is a case of selective suspension and that he is due to retire on 30-09-2018 and he is being targeted by the Management.

A reading of the charge sheet issued to the petitioner as well as the suspension order indicates that a vehicle taken on hire from the Management for travel to Shirdi was allegedly deviated while coming back from Shirdi to Basara at the instance of the petitioner. This allegation needs to be enquired into. It is not the case of the petitioner that the authority passing the said order has no jurisdiction to pass the said order or that it is mala fide.

The respondents have filed a counter affidavit stating that four other persons have also been charge sheeted along with petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner cannot complain that he is the only person is being targeted and the rest of the passengers in the bus who are other employees have been exonerated.

I therefore see no reason to interfere with the impugned order and the Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. No costs. 7.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
