Petition under Section 438 of Cr.P.C praying that in the circumstances stated in the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition, the High Court may be pleased to enlarge the petitioner/Accused No.3 on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No. 355 ol 2023 on the file of Geesugonda Police Station, Warangal during the Pendency of inquiry and trial. This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri K V MALLIKARJUNA RAO, Advocate for the Petitioner, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent.

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ,Cr.P.C.,) by the petitioner/ accu sed No.3 to enlarge him on alticipatory bail in the , event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.355 of 2023 on the file of the Station House Officer, Geesugonda police Station, Warangal, for the offence registered under Sections 420, 3g6, 3S4, 354-D, 5O6 and 5O9 read with Section 34 of the Indian penal Code.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. perused the record.

Since the punishment prescribed for the offence alleged against the petitioner is less than seven (07) years, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the Investigating Officer in Crime No.355 of 2023 on the lile of the Station House Oflicer, Geesugonda Police Station, Warangal, to follow the procedure laid down under Section 4l-A Cr.P.C and also the guidelines formulated by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar a.

State of Bihcrl scrupulously. The petitioner shall co-operate with the Investigating Oflicer and shall appear before the Investigating officer as and when required for the purpose of investigation. 4.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
