The de-facto complainant and her counsel Sri Raju Gubbala are present. Accused and their counsel Sri B.Muralidhar are present.
Heard both sides and perused the petition.
The Cyberabad Police filed charge sheet in FIR No.212 of 2013 against the accused for the offences under Section 326 IPC. It is submitted by both the parties that at the intervention of elders, parties have settled the matter in respect of offence under Section 326 IPC in C.C.No.620 of 2013 on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Miyapur at Kukatpally, Cyberabad and entered into a compromise and hence compromise may be recorded and criminal proceedings in C.C.No.620 of 2013 may be quashed in the interest of justice. Having regard to the above submission and considering the fact that it is a financial matter and no useful purpose will be served even if the parties are driven to the trial since they compromised and following the decision reported in Gian Singh v. State of Punjab and another[1] this criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed and compromise is recorded and consequently, proceedings in C.C.No.620 of 2013 on the file of IX
Metropolitan Magistrate, Miyapur at Kukatpally, Cyberabad are quashed.
In the result, both the Petitions are accordingly disposed of.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
