K. Venkatesh Goud v. The Prohibition And Excise Superintendent,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.30519 of 2012 Date:19.06.2015 Between:
K.Venkatesh Goud.
.... Petitioner And The Prohibition & Excise Superintendent, Rajendra Nagar, Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad.
... Respondent
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.30519 of 2012 ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioner was that the Excise Authorities were entertaining applications for grant of T.F.T. Licences at Sardarnagar Village, Shabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, without passing final orders in terms of the directions of this Court in W.P.Nos.29553 of 2010 and 27394 of 2012.
The objection of the petitioner was that persons who were not residents of Sardarnagar Village were being considered for grant of licences.
The Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, Rajendranagar, Ranga Reddy District, filed a counter-affidavit stating that upon due consideration of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.29553 of 2010, a new T.F.T. toddy shop was sanctioned for Kurvaguda Village and separate licences were issued in respect thereof. He further stated that no licences were issued to non-residents of Sardarnagar Village. He also furnished the details of the licences given to 13 individuals who were locals of Sardarnagar Village. No reply affidavit was filed by the petitioner denying the averments made in the aforestated counter.
In the light of the above developments, it is clear that the Excise Authorities have taken necessary action upon the orders passed by this Court in the earlier cases and the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.
The writ petition is therefore closed.
Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
