Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology.

An order passed by the Director of Mines and Geology, dated 06.07.2016 in D.Dis.Proc.No.23459/R5-1/2015 determining quarry lease granted in favour of the petitioner in respect 3.000 Hects in Sy.No.1104/7 and 1105/7 of Kotrepalli village, Theertham mandal, Chittoor District is under challenge in the present writ petition. 3.

It is the case of the petitioner herein that without service of show-cause notice the Director of Mines and Geology ordered determination of the quarry lease.

On the other hand, on instructions, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that service of notice was affected on the petitioner herein and only thereafter the impugned order came to be passed. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that on 22.03.2017, against the order impugned in the present writ petition, petitioner herein already preferred a statutory revision before the State Government under Section 35-A of A.P. Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1966.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition, with a direction to the State Government/first respondent herein to dispose of the revision said to have been filed by the petitioner herein against the orders impugned in the

present writ petition, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the revision is disposed of, interim order granted by this Court on 18.06.2018 shall continue to remain in force. 6.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
