HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.505 of 2019 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for petitioners submitted that the petitioners should have been sent for Survey Training so as to enable them to get promotion to the post of Senior Assistant.

Learned Government Pleader for Services-II submitted that the petitioners were already sent for training and they are undergoing training.

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. It is needless to say that the cases of the petitioners shall be considered for promotion to the post of Senior Assistant. However, if any of them refused to undergo training at an earlier point of time, they are not entitled for promotion to the post of Senior Assistant on par with their juniors. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
