THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.2468 of 2015 ORDER:

Questioning the interference of the 3rd respondent with their peaceful possession and construction in the plots situated in survey No.133-4 of Kurugunta Village, Anantapur Mandal of Anantapur District, without any prior notice, the petitioners filed this writ petition.

2. Notice before admission was ordered on 09.02.2015 and the matter is taken up for admission today.

3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue [A.P.] placed on record the written instructions received from Tahsildar, Anantapur Mandal and District vide Rc.No.B/816/2014, dated 08.02.2015, that the pattas granted in favour of the petitioners came to be cancelled after issuance of the notice and after following due process, necessary resumption orders were passed on 29.12.2014. It is further stated that the petitioners are not local residents and they are not in possession of the lands.

4. In the light of the final orders said to have been passed by the Government cancelling the pattas of the petitioners, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to avail remedies available under law. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
