THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.976 of 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the demand made by the respondents vide proceedings dated 25.11.2008 to the extent of Rs.62,847/-.

Counsel for the petitioner had contended that during pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner paid the amount as demanded by the respondents. Counsel further contended that since the petitioner paid the amount, let the case of the petitioner for providing new service connection along with panel Board, be considered. Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents had contended that in view of the demanded amount being paid by the petitioner, the case of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions of learned counsel for respective parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the respondents staking his claim for new service connection along with panel Board, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon such representation being received, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, in another eight weeks thereafter.

With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
