THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAGHVENDRA SINGH CHAUHAN AND THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO W.P.No.540 of 2019 ORDER: {Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan} In pursuance to the orders dated 05-01-2019, the Circle Inspector of Police, Wyra has produced Mr.Nagabattini Kranthi before this Court.

Learned Counsel for the State submits that on 02-01-2019 Mr.Kranthi had addressed press meet before the Commissioner of Police, Khammam office. Since the depositors had come to know of his whereabouts, they were attempting to gather. Therefore, Mr.Kranthi left the place without informing his family. Subsequently on 06-01-2019 at 3.00 AM Mr.Kranthi was picked-up by the Police in connection with Cr.No.286 of 2018, for offences under Sections 420, 406 IPC and under Section 5 of A.P. Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, 1999. Due to the order passed by this Court on 05-01-2019, he is being produced before this Court. Since he had to be transported to Hyderabad, so far, he has not been produced before the concerned Magistrate.

This Court has also interacted with Mr.Kranthi, about his whereabouts. He has reiterated the facts mentioned by the learned counsel for the State.

Obviously, his detention is not illegal. As he has been apprehended by the police in connection with Cr.No.286 of 2018. Therefore, the Habeas Corpus petition no longer survives. It is, hereby, disposed of.

The Police are directed to produce Mr.Kranthi in connection with Cr.No.286 of 2018 before the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Madhira, Khammam District as soon as possible.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
