The appellants/A-1, A-2 & A-4 are present along with their counsel and the learned Public Prosecutor representing the respondent State is also present.

I.A.No.1 of 2019 is filed by them to compound the offences against the appellants/ A-1, A-2 & A-4 in S.C.No.107 of 2007 on the file of learned Special Judge for Trial of Cases under SC & ST (POA) Act Cases at Khammam, which is outcome of Crime No.78 of 2004, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 506(2) of Indian Penal Code, 1860, and Section 3(1)(c) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2016, by stating that they settled the matter outside the Court amicably to purchase peace, subject to payment of Rs.10,000/- to the Army Welfare Fund Account and terms of the compromise was also appended. The appellants/A-1, A-2 & A-4 have paid Rs.10,000/- to the Army Welfare Fund Account and they have filed a xerox copy of the receipt. 3.

In view of the compromise between the parties, I.A.No.1 of 2019 is allowed by compounding the offences. Consequently, the Criminal Appeal is allowed and the proceedings against the accused in S.C.No.107 of 2007 on the file of learned Special Judge for Trial of Cases under SC & ST (POA) Act Cases at Khammam, are hereby quashed, appellants/A-1, A-2 & A-4 are acquitted and the bail bonds of the A-1, A-2 & A-4, if any, stands cancelled.
