HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5186 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 to A4 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.295 of 2011 on the file of X Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Malkajgiri, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A and 494 of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 23.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Kushaiguda Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate and submitted that after filing of charge sheet, C.C.No.295 of 2011 was registered and the same was ended in acquittal vide judgment dated 29.04.2016 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.295 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
