The grievance of the petitioners is that though they have given the reports on 06.05.2017 and 08.05.2017 against Respondents 4 and 5, no action has been taken thereon by Respondents 2 and 3, so far.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that based on the reports of the petitioners, a case in Crime No.105 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 323 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code on the file of Medikonduru Police Station was registered and the investigation is in progress. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader for Home, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing Respondents 2 and 3 to complete the investigation as early as possible. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
