This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.1 in not continuing the petitioners as the Trust Board Members of respondent No.3- Temple for the residuary term of five months 28 days, during which they were prevented from functioning as such in view of Act 33 of 2007.
At the hearing, the learned Counsel for both parties have not disputed that WP.No.2239 of 2016, filed by the Trustees of another Temple, was disposed of by this Court vide Order, dated 27-012016, wherein the following directions were issued: "Respondent Nos.1 and 2 shall consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation of the petitioners for extension of their term as a compensatory measure equal to the period for which they were not permitted to act as the Trust Board Members. Till such disposal, the petitioners shall be continued as the Members of the Trust Board of respondent No.3."
As the issues raised in this Writ Petition are similar to that raised in the above mentioned Writ Petition, the respondents are directed to continue the petitioners as Members of the Trust Board of
respondent No.3- Temple till disposal of their representation, dated 25-01-2016.
Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
