THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM W.P.Nos.654, 656, 657, 659, 661 and 741 of 2019 COMMON ORDER In all these writ petitions, the grievance of the petitioners is that certain persons purporting to act on behalf of the 2nd respondent are threatening to demolish the constructions made in their respective properties. They asserted that no notice was issued to them specifying the ground of proposed demolitions, except orally threatening them.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent, on instructions, contends that none of the officers have visited the respective premises of the petitioners. He further submits that if any action is required to be taken with respect to the alleged constructions made by the petitioners, procedure as contemplated under the Act would be followed by issuing notice and opportunity to them.

In the light of the aforesaid submission of the learned Standing Counsel and the writ petitions appear to have filed on mere apprehension, the Writ Petitions are disposed of, with an observation that any action proposed to be taken by the respondents against the constructions made by the petitioners, they shall strictly adhere to the procedure prescribed under law. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending in these writ petitions, shall stand closed.
