HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER WRIT PETITION No.29710 OF 2017 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The petitioner seeks a writ of habeas corpus directing the Station House Officer, Nandikotkur Police Station, Kurnool district, to forthwith produce his son, Ananthuni Kishore, before this Court and set him at liberty.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader attached to the office of the learned Advocate General, State of Andhra Pradesh, relying on the written instructions furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Nandikotkur Police Station, informed this Court that Ananthuni Kishore was produced before the Tahsildar and Executive Magistrate, Nandikotkur mandal, Kurnool district, and he confirmed that he was not being held in custody by the Police. That being so, no cause is made out for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
