HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITON No.15245 OF 2010 ORDER: (per Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the action of the respondents in not renewing the authorisation of the petitioner's Fair Price Shop at Kusulawada, Anandpuram Mandal as arbitrary and illegal.

While the Writ Petition was admitted on 15.03.2011, no interim order was passed. The Learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies, on instructions, states that the petitioner's Fair Price Shop license was renewed, and the renewed license is valid till 14.10.2018. It is evident, therefore, that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court. The Writ Petition has become infructuous and is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
