ORDER

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Crime No.54 of 2016 of Malkipuram Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 r/w 34 I.P.C., and Section 3(1)(R)(S) of the Scheduled Castes and Schedules Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 No.1 of 2016.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

3. As seen from the complaint, it is evident that there are certain allegations against the petitioners. The truth or otherwise of the allegations made against the petitioners in the complaint can be ascertained by the investigating agency during the course of investigation. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to quash the impugned proceedings.

4. Hence, this Criminal Petition is disposed of, directing the police not to arrest the petitioners/A1 to A3 until completion of investigation.

5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
