Since the subject matter in both the writ petitions is one and the same, they are being disposed of by this common order. 2.

These two writ petitions are filed seeking to declare the action of the 3rd respondent in both the writ petitions in calling the petitioners to the police at the behest of the 5th respondent in both the writ petitions without there being any complaint or a case being registered against the petitioners, and thereby, causing interference in the personal life and liberty of the petitioners, as being illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 08.01.2020, while denying the allegations made in the writ petitions, submits that the 3rd respondent never called the petitioners to the police station nor made them to sit in the 3rd respondent police station demanding to pay the loan amount of the 5th respondent. It is further submitted by the learned AGP that till date, no complaint is given by any individual against the petitioners, nor any case is registered against them and the petitioners were never called to the police station. 5.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader on behalf of the official respondents, no further orders need be passed in the present writ petitions.

The writ petitions are accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
