The petitioners seek to question D-Form pattas granted to respondents 6 to 27 as early as on 03-11-2010. The petitioners claim that they are in possession of the land in question and the pattas could not have been granted in favour of third parties. The affidavit, however, does not show any prima facie title of the petitioners and a claim is made purely alleging that the petitioners are in possession of the land in question and that the 4th respondent issued pattas in favour of respondents 6 to 27. The petitioners have not made any application for grant of assignment in their favour and no reasons are mentioned as to why pattas granted to respondents 6 to 27 are now being questioned after five years.

Since prima facie the petitioners have no locus standi to question the grant of assignment pattas by the Government in favour of respondents 6 to 27, I do not see any reason to entertain the writ petition.
