05.06.2023 HCJ & NTR, J Review Petition No.2 of 2023 Heard Mr. V.Krishna Swaroop, learned counsel for the petitioner.

This petition has been filed for review of the order dated 23.02.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.951 of 2023.

We may mention that the aforesaid writ petition was filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents, more particularly respondents No.1 to 4, to take action on his representations dated 24.01.2022, 05.03.2022, 15.11.2022 and 18.11.2022 against respondent No.5. According to the petitioner, after becoming a public representative, respondent No.5 has amassed wealth disproportionate to the known source of income.

The writ petition was dismissed vide the order dated 23.02.2023 holding that what the petitioner seeks is a roving and fishing enquiry against respondent No.5 through the medium of the Court. Without expressing any opinion on the alleged disproportionate wealth of respondent No.5, this Court had declined to entertain the writ petition.

The present review petition has been filed on the ground that the order of this Court dated 23.02.2023 has undermined the petitioner, who is a voter of the constituency from where respondent No.5 was elected. It is further stated that this Court ought not to have dismissed the writ petition filed by the petitioner by taking the view that "petitioner filed the writ petition with a malicious intention to blackmail the 5th unofficial respondent"; order of this Court undermined the preamble of the Constitution "we the people" and is against the common man.

From a perusal of the order dated 23.02.2023, we do not find that any comment was made by the Court that petitioner had filed the writ petition with a malicious intention to blackmail the 5th unofficial respondent. These are the words of the petitioner himself trying to justify reopening of the proceedings. Grounds urged being far-fetched, we decline to entertain the review petition.

Review Petition is accordingly dismissed.
