W.P.No.15371 of 2015 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:

"To issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of "Writ of Mandamus" declaring the action of the respondents 2 and 3 in not considering and processing the application of the petitioners for recognizing the petitioner as a composite institution as being illegal, arbitrary unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents- and3 to forthwith consider and process the application of the petitioners pending grant of permission for a Degree College and further direct the respondents to recognize the 2nd petitioner institution as a composite institution".

2. Heard Sri Tarun G.Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri K.Ramakanth Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Respondents 2 and 3, apart from perusing the material available on record. 3.

According to the petitioners, the 1st petitioner is a society registered under A.P. Societies Registration Act, 2001 and the object of the said society is to promote education amongst various sections of the society by establishing various institutions. It is also stated that in consonance with the said object, the 1st petitioner has established the 2nd petitioner institution for imparting training in Diploma in Education Course (D.El.Ed). It is also pleaded in the writ affidavit that the 2nd petitioner institution is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the 2nd petitioner has been successfully functioning since its inception without any complaints from the respondents herein.

4. According to the petitioners, the petitioners made an application on 31.5.2015 seeking recognition as a composite institution and the same has not been considered so far by the respondents. The learned

counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to direct the respondents herein to consider the said application, in accordance with law.

For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents 2 and 3 herein to consider the application dated 31.5.2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein for recognition as a composite institution and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law and as per the regulations governing the field, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
