The present writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the first respondent in not passing orders either in the revision or on the stay application filed therein by the petitioner against the order, dated 19.10.2019, in C.M.A.No.51 of 2018, passed by the third respondent, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare.

Perusal of the record discloses that the petitioner has filed a revision before the first respondent along with an application for stay on 17.12.2019 and it is stated that the same is pending consideration by the first respondent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, ends of justice would be met, if a direction is given to the first respondent to consider and dispose of either the revision or the stay application filed therein, against the order of the third respondent, within a time frame, protecting the interest of the petitioner in the meanwhile. 5.

Hence, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of either the stay application, or the revision, on its own merits, and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, the petitioner shall not be dispossessed from the land in question.
