HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.22480 OF 2001 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not promoting the petitioners as Foreman as per the confirmed seniority list in Memo No.SE (O)/OGL/ADM/VI/D.No.3100/98, dated 28.3.1998 and Memo No.SE(O)/Ongole/Adm/VI/D.No.3809/96, dated 31.5.1996, as illegal and arbitrary.

When this matter has come up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that since the petitioners retired from service, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
