HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 8850 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A.2 to A4 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 28 of 2010 (new CC No. 135 of 2012) on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Section 498-A, 377 and 420 IPC (Crime No. 3 of 2010 of WPS Begumpet).

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 14.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad City and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 21.10.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 28 of 2010 (new CC No. 135 of 2012) has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
