Heard. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission. 2.

The petitioner, who is working as a Junior Lecturer in B.V.K.

Junior College, Dwarakanagar, Visakhapatnam, respondent, seeks promotion as Principal of the college. He made a representation on 11.08.2016 to the Correspondent of the said college, the 3rd respondent, in this regard. The grievance of the petitioner is that no action has been taken so far. Hence, the Writ Petition.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation, dated 11.08.2016.

Having regard to the said submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation, dated 11.08.2016, submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the entitlement of the 4th respondent for promotion is not in any way affected and that if the 3rd respondent is acting upon the representation of the petitioner favourably and which may have effect on the claim of the 4th respondent, the

4th respondent shall be put on notice and due opportunity of hearing shall be given before passing of the orders adverse to her interest. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
