When the matter had come up on 24.11.2017, 27.11.2017, 28.11.2017, 29.11.2017, 07.12.2017 and 11.12.2017, none appeared for the petitioner and there was no representation on his behalf, and therefore, the matter was directed to be posted on 14.12.2017 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today also, when the matter has come up for hearing, none appears for the petitioner and there is no representation on his behalf. Therefore, the petitioner is not evincing any interest in prosecuting his case.

The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed for non prosecution. No order as to costs.
