O R D E R

(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The applicants in O.A.No.1183 of 2016 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, are before this Court aggrieved by the dismissal of their O.A. at the threshold vide order dated 28.03.2016.

The grievance of the petitioners in the said O.A. was that the authorities were making appointments to the posts of Civil Constables in Chittoor District in excess of 10% quota by way of conversion of appointments from the category of Police Constables (AR). The Tribunal however found that the O.A. was bereft of necessary particulars and that the applicants, the petitioners herein, were initiating a roving enquiry to ascertain the details.

Having perused the material produced by the applicants in the said O.A., we are of the opinion that there was no demonstrable data whereby the petitioners could maintain the allegation that appointments to the posts of Civil Constables in Chittoor District were being made in excess of the permitted quota. We therefore find no reason to interfere with the order passed by the Tribunal.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. This order shall however not preclude the petitioners from approaching the Tribunal afresh in the event they have sufficient material to support their allegation. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
