THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4251 of 2011 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., by the petitioners/A.1 to A.3 seeking to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.85 of 2011 of Pet Basheerabad Police Station, Cyberabad, wherein they are alleged to have committed offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 307, 511, 437, 427 and 420 IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

When the matter is called today, there is no representation for the petitioners. However, learned Additional Public Prosecutor by filing letter, dated 24.05.2017, issued by Sub-Inspector of Police, Pet Basheerabad Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, would submit that in this case charge sheet was filed on 23.04.2011 and case was registered as P.R.C.No.13 of 2011 on the file of XV Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal. He would submit that the petition, which was filed to quash the F.I.R., has become infructuous, hence, may be dismissed.

In view of letter, dated 24.05.2017, issued by Sub-Inspector of Police, Pet Basheerabad Police Station, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
