folder subject correctio ns if any I.A.No.1 of 2026 This application is filed by the petitioner / appellant to suspend the sentence imposed in SC.SPL.No.260 of 2023 by the learned Fast Track Special Judge for Trial and Disposal of Rape & POCSO Act Cases, Rangareddy District at L.B.Nagar, dated 25.02.2025.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the father of the petitioner expired today morning, and that he is required to perform the last rites and customary ceremonies. Therefore, he prayed the Court to grant interim bail to the petitioner for a certain period.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the father of the petitioner expired today morning and did not oppose the request for grant of interim bail to the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by both sides, upon perusal of the material available on record, and having regard to the fact that the father of the petitioner has passed away, this Court is inclined to grant interim bail to the petitioner for the period from 28.04.2026 - 16.05.2026, subject to the following conditions:

i.

The petitioner shall be released on interim bail from 28.04.2026 - 16.05.2026 subject to the executing a personal bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent.

ii.

The petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent on 17.05.2026 on or before 5:00 p.m.

iii.

The concerned Jail Superintendent is directed to ensure that this order is complied forthwith.

iv.

The petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated in Section 437(3) of Cr.P.C.

(presently, Section 480(3) of the BNSS).

v.

Registry is directed to communicate this order the concerned Jail Superintendent.

vi.

During the period of bail, the petitioner shall not indulge in any criminal acts, failing which the respondent - State shall

be at liberty file a petition for cancellation of bail.

Accordingly, this application is ordered.
