... Petitioners And The Govt., of A.P., rep., by its Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (Mines) Department, Hyderabad & others.

HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 21877 of 2008 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) This writ petition is pending since 2008 and it appeared before the Court last in November, 2008. Thereafter, learned counsel for the petitioners never made any attempt to take the writ petition for hearing before Court.

Today, Sri M.V. Mani Sekhar, learned counsel holding for Sri M.V.Raja Ram, advocate on record for the petitioners, once again seeks time. He submits that the petitioners are considering whether they should approach Green Tribunal. This itself shows that the petitioners have lost interest in prosecuting the writ petition further.

Hence, we dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. If the petitioners are serious in prosecuting the cause in the writ petition, they may either approach this Court seeking restoration of the writ petition or to the Green Tribunal, as the case may be. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
