SMT. JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.248 of 2018 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under Sections 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., is filed by petitioner/accused in Crime No.191 of 2017 of Kothapet Police Station, Guntur District, seeking bail. 2.

The offence alleged against the accused is under Section 302 IPC.

Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State and perused the record. 4.

As per the case of the prosecution, when the petitioner tried to kill his wife, i.e., the daughter of de facto complainant, the de facto complainant intervened to save her life and received stab injury and subsequently, he died. The motive for the offence is property. Considering the nature of offence, this Court finds that this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand dismissed.
