Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition was filed seeking a direction to the respondents to release annual grade increments due to the petitioner.

At the time of admission of this writ petition, the respondents were directed to release annual grade increments to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the said interim direction, increments have been released to the petitioner. Hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, if any increments are yet to be released by the respondents, the petitioner is at liberty to agitate for the same by way of appropriate proceedings, if so advised.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
