Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents.

The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as follows: ".... To issue a writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus, declaring the proceeding of the 1st respondent in Commissioner Appeals Proceedings No.HYAD/3/95 dated 31.8.2004 confirming the orders of the 2nd respondent in proceedings No.D1/12295/76 dated 15.12.1994 as illegal, contrary to law and without jurisdiction."

During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader has produced before this Court a brief note received by him from the Special Deputy Collector, ULC (wing), Ranga Reddy, district and submitted that the present case has not reached upto 10(6) stage and it is figured in the standard list of 10(6) cases prepared during the year 2012 and communicated to different authorities and as such, the proceedings in the present case are abated under the provisions of Section 3 and 4 of the Urban Land Ceiling Repeal Act, 1999 adopted in the former state of Andhra Pradesh w.e.f. 27.3.2008.

Therefore, recording the said statement, since no further cause would survive, the present Writ Petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
