THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.30304 of 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"to issue writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the 1st Respondent in not granting approval to the Petitioner Institution as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional apart from being contrary to the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and consequently direct the 1st Respondent to take necessary steps for grant of approval to the Petitioner institution for the academic year 2015-16."

Heard Sri Tarun G. Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri K. Ramakanth Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1, Sri B. Narayana Reddy, learned Asst. Solicitor General for respondent No.2, Sri A. Abhishek Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.3 and learned Government Pleader for Higher Education, apart from perusing the material available before this Court.

During the course of hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioners herein submitted an application in the month of February, 2015 and according to the petitioners, no action has been taken till date on the said application by the 1st respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for A.I.C.T.E. - 1st respondent herein have submitted that the same may be directed to be disposed of by fixing some time frame.

In view of the above submissions, the writ petition stands disposed of, directing the A.I.C.T.E. - 1st respondent herein to pass appropriate orders on the application said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein in the month of February, 2015 for renewal of approval within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law, declared by

the Hon'ble Apex Court in case of PARSHAVANATH CHARITABLE TRUST AND OTHERS V. AICTE.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
