THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Contempt Case No.2262 of 2013 ORDER:

Sri Avinash Desai, learned counsel for the petitioner states that, while the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.11929 of 2012 dated 22.07.2013 has been set aside by the Division Bench in W.A.No.109 of 2015 dated 18.02.2015, the petitioner intends to carry the matter in appeal to the Supreme Court.

The fact remains that, as on date, the order of this Court, violation of which is alleged in the present contempt case, has been set aside. The respondent cannot, therefore, be said to have committed contempt necessitating action being taken under the Contempt of Courts Act.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. Contempt Applications pending, if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
