THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.863 OF 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.922 of 2012 pending on the file of XVII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, City Criminal Courts at Nampally, registered for the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. After arguing for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioner confined his argument to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioner before the trial Court. In the circumstances, the presence of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates so specifically the trial Court insists for her appearance. The petitioner is directed to be represented by a counsel on all hearing dates.

The Criminal Petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
