Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Home.

Petitioners claim to be in possession and enjoyment of land in Survey Nos. 450, 459 and 460, Lemoor Revenue village, Kandukur mandal, Ranga Reddy district. In this writ petition, petitioners allege that police are calling the petitioners to the police station and asking to settle the dispute between the petitioners and person by name Mr.Mohd.Yousuf Ali and harassing and threatening the petitioners with dire consequences on failing to settle the dispute. 3.
The written instructions furnished by the Sub Inspector of Kandukur police station would disclose that Mr.Mohd Yousuf Ali filed complaint on 24.12.2018 alleging grabbing of land. The said complaint was registered and notice under Section 91/160 of Criminal Procedure Code was issued on 2.1.2019 to petitioners.

Having regard to the fact that crime is already registered and Sub Inspector issued notice to the petitioners calling upon their explanation and furnishing documentary or oral evidence in support of their case, it cannot be said that police have illegally harassing and humiliating the petitioners as sought to be contended in the writ petition. Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioners to avail the remedies available to them under law.
