In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioner-accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 458 of 2013 on the file of the Court of XVI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally at Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468, 471, 482 and 506 of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 05-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Habeebnagar Police Station, Hyderabad City, and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 08-02-2016 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 458 of 2013, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
