This Writ Petition is filed seeking consideration of the application of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds and since it is a matter relating to the appointment, the Central Administrative Tribunal is having jurisdiction in respect of BSNL employees. 2.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Forum. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
