HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No.5317 of 2001 ORDER:

Petitioner seeks a direction to respondent to take necessary steps to realize pensionary dues through its Embassy at Iran.

Brief facts of the case are that the petitioner worked as an Engineer in the factory, M/s.

his pension from 1998 till date from the Government of Iran. Hence the writ petition.

On 23.03.2001, while admitting the writ petition, this Court permitted the petitioner to take out personal notice on the respondent and file proof of service. No memo is filed by the counsel for the petitioner showing proof of service on the respondent. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he could not contact his client for getting latest instructions. As the writ petition is of the year 2001, and as there is no information whatsoever with regard to receipt of pension by the petitioner, no orders can be passed in the writ petition. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
