HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 14401 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 & A5 seek to quash the proceedings in CC No. 190 of 2013 on the file of First Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kothagudem, Khammam District, registered for the offences under Sections 294-(b), 506, 427 r/w 34 IPC (FIR No. 98 of 2013 of Kothagudem I Town Police Station, Khammam).

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 04.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Kothagudem I Town Police Station, Bhadradri, Kothagudem District and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 11.2.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 190 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
