ORDER

Challenging the action of the respondents in issuing Circular dated 17.10.2011 restricting the age of the petitioner to refer to the 4th respondent-Medical Board, the present writ petition is filed. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in view of the latest Circular dated 21.01.2019 issued by the respondents, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and that the case of the petitioner be considered in terms of the said Circular.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents contends that case of the petitioner for referring to the Medical Board will be considered in terms of Circular dated 21.01.2019. Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed with the issuance of Circular dated 21.1.2019.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is closed. It is needless to state that the respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner in terms of Circular dated 21.1.2019. No costs.
