Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. He submits that the present Writ petition is filed against the action of the 2nd respondent by not giving seniority to the petitioners in the cadre of Assistant Engineer from 02.06.2010 on par with their juniors, and also declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not placing the petitioners at the appropriate places as per their seniority in the final seniority list of Assistant Engineers communicated vide Memo No.

CGM(HRD)/GM(Adm.)/As(Estt)/PO-B/JPO-2/373/2016-5 dated, 09.02.2017 as illegal.

To that extent, the petitioners made a representation before the authorities i.e., Chairman and Managing Director on 02.02.2017 by seeking the relief with the authorities to protect their seniority by placing them in the appropriate places in the final seniority list. The matter was listed before this Hon'ble Court in the earlier occasion, today again matter has come up for admission.

Now the issue is that the petitioners request is to consider and pass appropriate orders with regard to the representation. In view of the submissions made by the petitioner counsel this Hon'ble Court directing the authorities to dispose of the representation dated 02.02.2017 and also directing the petitioner counsel to make a fresh representation along with earlier representation and accordingly the respondent authorities to dispose of the same within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In view of the above directions this Writ Petition is disposed of . Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
