In response to the notification to fill up post of Anganwadi Worker in Haligera village, petitioner was also subjected to selection process. However, no appointment order was issued in favour of petitioner. Petitioner claims that 5th respondent was appointed in preference to petitioner. On further enquiry, petitioner came to know that 5th respondent was not having qualification of 10th pass and by submitting her sister's 10th class certificate, she got employment illegally.

Alleging illegal appointment, petitioner filed complaint to the District Collector on 24.02.2016. Alleging inaction on the part of the District Collector in responding to the complaint, this writ petition is filed. 2.

Though notice was served on 5th respondent, no appearance is entered.

On instructions, learned Government Pleader submits that on the allegation, enquiry was conducted and prima facie it was found that signature of the 5th respondent was not tallying with the signature on the transfer certificate relied by the 5th respondent. However, the signature was sent for Forensic Laboratory for assessment and awaiting the report.

Having regard to these facts, I deem it proper to dispose of the writ petition with the following directions: i) Since petitioner submitted representation on 24.02.2016 ventilating her grievance against alleged illegal selection of 5th

respondent and since prima facie, the authorities have also found discrepancy in the certificates relied by the 5th respondent, respondents 2 to 4 are directed to examine the grievance of the petitioner as ventilated in the representation by duly taking note of enquiry report already available and take appropriate action as warranted by law and communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
