HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD WRIT PETITION No.1125 OF 2018 ORDER:
This writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners seeking the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying Affidavit, it is, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 5 & 6 in not considering the candidature of Petitioners for Telangana State Weightlifting Competition 2017, which is resulting in deprivation of petitioners' rights to participate in the National and international weightlifting events as arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct the respondents 5 & 6 to accept and select the Petitioners to represent the State of Telangana in National and International Weightlifting competitions scheduled to be held at Mangalore w.e.f 26th January 2018 to 29th January 2018 and pass such order or further orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard Sri B.Subash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Sri K.Lakshman, learned Assistant Solicitor General, appearing for the 4th respondent.

A perusal of the record goes to show that the writ petition is filed in the month of January, 2018 and since then no orders have been passed in the interlocutory application. In view of the same, by afflux of time, no cause survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 4.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
