THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No. 1001 OF 2017 O R D E R :

This Contempt Case has been filed for the alleged violation of the order dated 25.04.2017 in Writ Petition No. 13914 of 2017, wherein this Court directed the respondent authorities to consider and dispose of the representation dated 15.04.2017 of the petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from that day.

While issuing notice to Respondents 2 and 3, as they are the proper authorities to take necessary action, on 30.06.2017, this Court dismissed the case as against Respondents 1 and 4. Today, when the case is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that pursuant to the order dated 25.04.2017, the representation of the petitioners was considered on 20.05.2017 by the Prohibition & Excise Superintendent, the 4th respondent.

In those circumstances, since the order dated 25.04.2017 has been complied with, the Contempt Case is closed as against Respondents 2 and 3 also.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
