THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.7615 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:

"to issue order, direction or writ particularly one in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate; (i) declaring that the proceedings No.E1/785 (3)/2014-RM (T) dated 21.07.2015 in so far as not sanctioning and releasing the pension on the last pay drawn by the petitioner of Rs. 13,945/- as Driver and in not paying the interest on pension from July, 2006 onwards till the actual date of payment as illegal, arbitrary and unjust; (ii) consequently direct the respondents to fix the pension of the petitioner in the pay of Rs. 13,945/- as driver and also direct the Respondents to pay the interest on arrears of pension payable from July, 2006 onwards till the actual date of payment and also interest on computation of pension. (iii) and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

2. Heard Smt. K.Udaya Sri, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner and Sri A.Rama Rao, learned standing counsel for the respondent Corporation.

When the matter is taken up, it is represented by learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, petitioner herein submitted a representation to the Regional Manager, APSRTC, Tirupati Region, Chittoor District - 2nd respondent herein on 08.02.2016 and the same has not been disposed of so far. It is further requested by learned counsel for the petitioner that the said representation may be directed to be disposed of by the 2nd respondent, in accordance with law, by fixing some

timeframe. The said request is not opposed by the learned standing counsel. This Court considers the said request as reasonable.

For the aforesaid reasons, Writ Petition stands disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the matter and entitlement of the petitioner herein, directing the 2nd respondent herein to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 08.02.2016 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs. __________________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J 10.03.2016 SS
