Respondents The Court made the following:
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.1004 OF 2019 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri R. Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Corporation Limited appearing for respondents 1 to 4 and Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) appearing for respondent No.5.
2.
Petitioner claims that she is the owner of land to an extent of 300 sq. yards along with five single room portions constructed in Plot No.628 situated at Sri Swamy Ayyappa Cooperative Housing Society Limited, Madhapur, Hyderabad. She claims that she has applied for providing electric power supply connection to five shops constructed by her, but so far the power supply connection is not provided to the shops and the application itself is not accepted on the ground that the State Government and the GHMC are opposing to provide electric power supply connection to any property located in Sri Swamy Ayyappa Cooperative Housing Society Limited.
3.
It is seen from the material on record that so far petitioner has not applied for providing electric power supply connection. Therefore, she cannot allege that the respondent - Company is not providing power supply connection.
4.
In view of the same, the Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to apply for electric power supply
connection by complying all the norms as required by the respondent - Company. As and when such application is made, the respondent - Company is directed to provide individual service connection to the shops of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of submission of such application and provision of such power supply connection shall be subject to further direction that may be issued by the State of Telangana or the Supreme Court in the litigation pending before it arising out of the judgment dated 12.09.2012 in W.P.No.20407 of 2008 and batch. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
