This Criminal Petition is {iled under Section 482 oI Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short tsNSSJ for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioners, who are arrayed as accused in Crime No.231 of 2024 of Central Crime Police Station, Hyderabad.

Heard Sri T.S. Anirudh Reddy, Iearned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners as well as Sri Syed Yasar Mamoon, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

Without going into the merits of the case, since the punishment prescribed for the offences alleged against the petitioner is less than seven (O7) years and considering the petitioner is a student, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Offrcer on or before 3O.O1.2025 between 11:00 a.m. and 05:0O p.m. and in turn, the Investigating Officer is directed to follow the procedure laid down under Section 35 (3) of BNSS (previously

\ Section 41-A of Cr.P.C.) and also ttre guidelines formulated by the Honble Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar o. Sito:te ot Biharr scrupulously. However, the petitioners shall submit their defense and co-operate w"ith the Investigating Officer as and when required by furnishing information and produce all relevant documents/material required for the purpose of the investigation and the Investigating Officer shall consider the same before filing appropriate report before the learned Magistrate concerned.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. li Miscellaneous applications, if arry pending, shall also stand closed.
